Suppose
there is a dark room. One man knows in which corner his luggage is
kept, so he goes in the right direction. A second man who doesn't know
gropes in all directions, and he may or may not find his things. In the
same way, one person gropes his way through life while another goes
straight toward the goal and reaches it. The difference between worldly
and spiritual knowledge is like the difference between talking and
actually seeing. It's the difference between supposing and knowing.
Without Knowledge, you have to imagine your chosen ideal of meditation,
no matter what it is.
