The great reality can not be realized by lack of spiritual strength,

being free from all attachment, and always at peace within and without.

They find the unconditioned and the all-pervading,

and realizing It within, become one with the All.

With faith firmly fixed in the teaching of the saints,

with the mind entirely purified through renunciation and spiritual

consciousness, yogis, one with the immortal,

become one with the Ultimate Reality at the moment of death.

Lord Krishna says in th Bhagavad gita, "Whenever Dharma is at its lowest ebb I come into this world from Age to Age to reestablish it, to eliminate the wicked and protect the holy and pious." A mirror has the capacity to shine, it has the capacity to reflect. It reflects the light of the sun but this capacity deminishes if there is dust on ti. When the dust settles completely on the mirror, then the mirror will not evern be visible. When the dust is cleaned it shines again. It has the capacity to show you your face. You can see your face only in a clean mirror. In exactly the same way Lord Krishna says, "In each Age, when this Spiritual Knowledge becomes almost dormant I incarnate to revive it."

O Master, many prostrations at your feet! By giving me Knowledge you have transformed me from a man into a god. Even if hundreds of moons and thousands of suns arise in the sky, despite so much light, without the Spiritual Master one would still be in the dark. The Master imparted the Knowledge of the Holy Name and Divine Light to me which has eradicated the darkness of ignorance within my heart. When a person happens to meet a true saint by the grace of God, he gets awakened and experiences all light within. Even if someone becomes as powerful as Brahma the Creator or Shiva the Destroyer, he cannot acquire salvation and cross the worldly ocean without the Spiritual Master.

Due to the darkness, nothing is visible at night but everything becomes visible without any effort just after sunrise. In the same way, when the Master imparts the knowledge of the Holy Name then all becomes light within the disciple.
