"PRATHAMO SALIGRAM HAIN, DOOJO PARAS RAM.
TEEJO RAJA RAM HAIN, CHOTHE ATMA RAM.
RAME NIRANTAR ATMA, SAB GHAT ATHON YAM.
WAHI TE SANTAN DHARO, RAM TAHI KO NAM."
The first is the 'saligram', which is a heavy round stone found in the river Gandok in Nepal. It is also called 'kosal' and its scientific name is 'emonite'. The second is 'Parsurama', a character in the Ramayana. The third is King Rama, son of King Dashrath. The fourth is 'Atmaram', the soul or Spirit. The fourth Rama, 'Atmaram' or soul is omnipresent as it exists in every speck of matter. It is present also within everyone's heart. That is why the saints called it "Ram".
