A man who is not cured of confusion cannot become holy simply by giving up eating fish or meat, by wandering naked, by shaving his head or by growing his hair long, by wearing bark, by smearing his body with ashes or by offering oblations to a sacred fire. He will become holy only by the determined positive mind necessary to reach the divine goal.
