It opens the centres of consciousness. It increases the intuitive power of a person and develops his insight. It annihilates the ego self and unites with the cosmic self. It is the wonder of wonders. One who does not meditate cannot have wisdom. Meditation opens the third eye by which your perception becomes keen and sharp. You can look into the distant and esoteric meaning of life. The divine play becomes visible through meditation. Meditation gives lot of mysterious powers and skills to man. The Hebrew Bible alludes to meditation as the method by which all prophets achieved visionary states of consciousness. Meditation reaches the ecstatic and blissful stage when the ‘meditator' is no longer there. So if you want to drink the nectar of life, meditation is the only way.
