The Master's satsang and teachings do not please or succeed with those, who do not respect their Master or who, after acquiring Knowledge from him, do not please his spirit with their mind, words and actions. The Spiritual Master makes a disciple able to tread the path of peace and self-realization and it is the duty of the disciple to try to please the Master, foregoing all worldly temptations. In this alone lies the salvation and benefit of the disciple.

Brother, if you have no devotion, what is the point of having come into the world? Without devotion, you cannot cress the worldly ocean. Without mediation on the True Name, you are no better than a dog or a bird trapped by its greed. There is only one True Name. It is the Doer, fearless and without opposition, indestructible, birth-less and self-existent. You can meditate upon it by the Grace of the Master. It has been the truth from the beginning of time, it is the Truth now, and will be so in future as well. Meditate with each breath on God's Name. Do not waste a single breath. Who knows whether the next breath will come or not? A person who has no love and devotion for God is the most unfortunate sinner.
