Shanti Vachan

If a disciple goes outside the commands of the Master and does a lot of remembrance of Holy Name and meditation, he cannot succeed because the basis of Self development is obeying the commands of the Spiritual Master.

Love all God's creation, the whole and every grain of sand in it. Love every leaf, every ray of God's light. Love the animals, love the plants, love everything. If you love everything, you will perceive the divine mystery in things. Once you perceive it, you will begin to comprehend it better everyday, and you will come at last to love the whole world with an all-embracing love.

Swami Vivekananda

Love knows no bargain, no reward; love is always for love's sake. Ask not anything in return for your love, let your position be always that of the fiver, give your love unto God, but do not ask anything in return even from Him. Love knows no fee and no rival.

Shri Hansji Maharaj

As mind is within, similarly the means to concentrate and focus the mind on the true and Holy Name of God and Divine Light is also within everyone. But this Knowledge can not be had without the divine eye and the divine eye is got from the saints and the Spiritual Master alone. To hook the mind to God is meditation.

No one so far has found lasting bliss in wealth. True happiness is achieved by doing one's duty properly and by investing the money thus earned in noble works, in doing spiritual actions and it is unparalleled.

Lord Shri Ram

Do you know how the spirit is influenced by pleasure and pain? When iron is burned in fire it appears like fire, and in the same way, when the spirit is reflected through intellect, we feel that it is influenced by pleasure and pain. But in reality, Spirit is invariable and dispassionate.

Satsang

When the U.S. and its allied forces attacked Iraq there were a lot of demonstrations in every part of the world against the invasion, as nobody wants war. These avoidable conflicts aim to do away with human beings. But we have to tolerate all this because we haven’t made sincere eliorts during peacetime to avoid the possibility of war. We never propagate the importance and necessity of overall peace in society, If we have positive thoughts and inspire others to pursue the same then the calmness in society and mental and spiritual elevation is evident. On the other hand, an indifferent attitude towards such positive values gives rise to unrest in society. But the paramount question remaining to be answered is who will inspire people to pursue such positive thoughts. The answer to this can be revealed in following the lifestyle and teachings of the Great Ones who descended on earth from time to time. Lord Buddha ii, his time inspired others to pursue positive values and renounce violence, hatred and intimidation. His teachings have been lauded everywhere and adopted by a considerable chunk of the world’s population. Likewise, Shri Satpalji Maharaj, following in the footsteps of Lord Buddha in the true sense Is, through satsang, helping society by helping individuals to attain inner peace by realization of one’s own soul through Holy Name. When we have peace within us, there will be peace in society, resulting in peace In the nation and the world as a whole.

Religion

Whenever we attend religious congregations, recitations or any similar cvcrit we tend to be in high spirits and feel inspired for a while, hut with the passage of time, thc short-felt feelings of dedication, service to mankind and surrender to Almighty God lend to vanish. We fall back again Into the old state of selfishness, pursuing worldly pleasures, prey to egoism and the unstable mind. Had this negativity not been there, this earth would have been heaven for all of us. Generally people interpret the meaning of religion in their own ways suiting their needs, circumstances and aspirations.
